SalDataField

Namespace: PPJ.Runtime.Windows

Assembly: PPJ.Web.50 (5.0.0.0)

Provides a masked input field with SAL data types, formatting, validation, and window actions.

public class SalDataField : MaskedTextBox, ISalWindow, ISalEditControl, ISalControl, IConvertible

Example:

using PPJ.Runtime.Windows;

var name = new SalDataField { MaxLength = 80, Text = "Ada" };

Constructors

Instance member SalDataField()

Initializes an unvalidated data field with a 100-character limit, fixed sizing, hidden prompts on focus loss, and literal mask characters included in its text.

Properties

Instance member CultureInfo

CultureInfo: Gets or sets the culture used by this control.

At runtime, an unset culture falls back to the containing SalForm and then Sys.CultureInfo. Neutral cultures are rejected. Non-current mutable cultures are stored as read-only cultures. Changing the culture rebuilds the mask provider and reapplies the edit mask.

Instance member DataType

DataType: Gets or sets the SAL data type used for validation and formatting. (Default: String)

Instance member DateTime

SalDateTime: Gets or sets the field value as a SAL date and time.

Reading parses masked text with the current format and culture; writing formats the supplied date into Text.

Instance member EditMask

String: Gets or sets the mask applied while editing. (Default: "")

Null becomes an empty mask. A change removes the old mask, resets the mask provider, and reapplies the new mask. An existing modified flag is preserved.

Instance member Format

String: Gets or sets the SAL format picture. (Default: "")

For numeric and date fields, accepts only a valid picture for that type and preserves the current typed value when reformatting. Other types store the picture and apply formatting immediately. Null becomes an empty picture.

Instance member KeepFormat

Boolean: Gets or sets whether display formatting remains when the field receives focus. (Default: False)

Instance member Mask

String: Gets or sets EditMask through the hidden base-compatible property.

Instance member MaskedTextProvider

MaskedTextProvider: Gets the lazily created provider used for edit-mask processing.

Uses EditMask and CultureInfo when a mask is configured; otherwise creates a placeholder provider. The initial prompt character is copied from PromptChar.

Instance member NamedProperties

SalNamedProperties: Gets this window's SAL named-property collection.

Instance member Number

SalNumber: Gets or sets the field value as a SAL number.

Uses the current format and culture, including percentage adjustment, to convert between text and numeric values.

Instance member Text

String: Gets or sets text with SAL masking and second-base redirection. (Default: "")

The getter removes mask prompts and literals unless KeepMask is active. Direct string-typed fields truncate assigned text to a positive MaxLength.

Instance member TextMaskFormat

MaskFormat: Gets or sets whether the mask provider includes prompts and literals. (Default: IncludeLiterals)

Changing the value updates the provider and remasks the existing text.

Methods

Instance member BringWindowToTop()
